"Martha & the Vandellas Greatest Hits"   Motown M5-204V1 Stereo "Originally released 5/4/66" Disc condition - Very small spot/mark on side 1 track 2, a few finger/scuff marks (probably needs cleaning) on side 1, a couple of very small dots/marks on side 2, also a small but rather nasty looking mark on side 2 track 4 ("A Love Like Yours").  Please see my note below as I am unable to play these records. Inner sleeve - Paper printed with record covers & "Motown Pop Quiz" . Cover - Very good, very minor edge & corner rub, minor ring rub, few small minor surface creases to edge, small circular mark impressed into top LH corner. "Mary Wells' Greatest Hits"   Motown M7-616R1 (on record label)  M-616-S1 Stereo 1964 (on cover)  Disc condition - Clean & shiny, very light scratch(?) mark side 1 track 1, a couple of scuff marks on non-playing area of side 2, none on playing surface that I can see.  Please see my note below as I am unable to play these records. Inner sleeve - Paper. Cover - Good, very minor corner & edge wear, very minor rim rub, a few dirty/finger marks, a couple of creases across top LH corner of cover, notch cut into lower LH corner. "20 Golden Greats"  Diana Ross & The Supremes Motown M1001 1964-66  Disc condition - Clean & shiny, no obvious marks or scratches to playing surface.  Please see my note below as I am unable to play these records. Inner sleeve - Plastic. Cover - Good, small amount of edge & corner wear, noticeable rim rub, a couple of small creases. "All Time Motown Greats"   Gladys Knight & the Pips / Marvin Gaye / Mary Wells / Diana Ross & The Supremes / Martha & The Vandellas / The Four Tops / The Temptations / Stevie Wonder / The Marvellettes / Smokey Robinson & The Miracles  Tamla Motown STML.6104 (P)1973 (on record label) Motown C-STML 6104 (P)1972 (on cover)  Made in NZ Disc condition - Quite a bit of edge scuffing, some finger marks (looks as if it needs a clean), a few small but definite marks/scratches on playing surface.  Please see my note below as I am unable to play these records. Inner sleeve - Plastic. Cover - OK, minor edge wear, some corner wear with creasing across lower RH corner, Some rim wear, quite a bit of discolouration & spotting (foxing) to white areas of cover.
My mother-in-law has gone into supported accommodation & among other things, we need to get rid of her record collection.  I will also be listing LPs inherited from my husband's brother, who was a fan of African American R&B and jazz artists. 
I do worry about accurately stating the condition of the records.  I am unable to play the records but will look at them carefully in a well lit room in daylight (no artificial lighting), listing any obvious faults.  All records are second hand/used/played & I have noticed that almost all, if held under direct sunlight or inside downlighting, will show very fine, light scratches/marks scattered over the surface.  These do not show in normal room lighting & will not be mentioned in my descriptions & may be present even when the record appears "clean & shiny".  Because I can't play the records, I will not be able to tell if the records sound scratchy or have any pops, crackles or background "noise".  Although my listings carry a "no refunds" policy, please contact me via email if you buy a record that disappoints because you feel my description is inaccurate & I will organise a refund. 
I ship LPs in a padded postal envelope with extra bubble wrap & cardboard around record.  A purchase of more than 3 LPs (or that doesn't fit into a padded post bag) is shipped wrapped in bubble wrap, inside a cardboard sleeve.  I will be happy to combine postage (please email for costs) if you are purchasing more than one item & will hold any item you have won until the end of any future auction on which you are bidding.
