Description

Up for bid is a "Disk Jockey Sample", Not For Sale" Promotional 45 RPM record of Jim Dickinson singing You'll Do It All The Time and Nobody Loves You When You Are Down And Out on Southtown Records, 45-22000.  The record will grade Near Mint to Near Mint-.   There is a Red Star on Side A indicating the side to plug and a date stamp on Side B that indicates the date it was received by the radio station.  This is a killer sound from a great musician.  I lived in Memphis for 37 years and saw him many times.  Wish he was still around.  Please listen to the sound bites below.  Thank you for looking.

Powered by eCommercePlayer.com   I have been selling glassware and collectibles on EBay for some time but, I thought I would provide a reference to the background of my selling records now.  First, I am not a dealer nor am I collector in the true sense of the word.  I have been accumulating records for many, many years.  These records include 33 1/3, 45’s, and 78’s.  They also range from Classical, Jazz, Blues, Doo Wop, R & B, Rock and Easy Listening.   For the most part I am not as familiar with grading or the value of a lot records as some of you that will be bidding.  That it not to say that I am ignorant of some record values.  I am attempting to sell off as many of my records as possible.  I will make every effort to grade the records fairly and price them accordingly.  I would expect those EBayer’s and collectors to correct me when I make a mistake.

I will do my best to pack all records with the expectation of it arriving safely to the buyer.  I will primarily use the US Postal Service for shipping.  Exceptions can and will be made on shipping at the request of the buyer.  I will be selling 33 1/3, 45’s, and 78’s.

All 78’s may be insured according to the final bid.   These are more difficult to ship and I do not wish the buyer or myself to loss out at the expense of the shipping service.   All 33 1/3 and 45’s with values above $25.00 will be insured as well.

I will also try to provide sound track of each record that is up for bid.  I hope that I can provide you with a good product and excellent service.  Good Luck in your bidding.
