Description
Here's a group of FOUR (4) 1934 "CALLING ALL CARS" 33 RPM TRANSCRIPTION DISCS IN ORIGINAL PAPER SLEEVES. Each record holds a complete syndicated 30-minute program with commercials for the RIO GRANDE OIL COMPANY. The program aired on the CBS West Coast network (but they contain no network ID tag). The stories were "based on the confidential files of the Los Angeles Police Department" and were written and produced by WILLIAM ROBSON.
These discs have custom overlabels identifying them as "TRANSCRIPTION LIBRARY OF H.E. BRITZMAN".
Included in this lot are the following 16-inch discs:
- Program 16 "THE CHLOROFORM MURDER" (3/14/34)
- Program 17 "DILLINGER CASE" (3/21/34)
- Program 34 "THE MANCHUKUO DOPE RING" (7/18/34)
- Program 35 "THE EXECUTION OF JOHN DILLINGER" (7/25/34)
