this is a 33 rpm record lp the best of rhythm and blues original red vinyl 1956 on the pink jubilee label # 1014 with the dominos,the ravens,the orioles and the four tunes. the vinyl is VG+ and plays very well the cover is VG it is split about 6" on top and about 10" on the bottom and has numerous pieces of scotch tape to close it also a piece of scotch tape over the orioles name on the back,a price $3.98 written on top right corner in ink pen and a pink sticker on top left with what seems to be a catalog number on the front, it still retains much of the original gloss and the tape & stickers should easily be removed using adhesive remover . spin this 33 rpm red wax time machine and you'll be back in 1956 with all the sounds and memories of a simpler time and maybe a first love. youll be there in the ball room with the magnificent bass voice of jimmy ricks with the ravens crooning green eyes boots and saddles and ill always be in love with you ,heart felt highly stylized renditions by sonny till and the orioles with crying in the chapel ,its too soon to know and tell me so. the individual and collective quality of jimmie nabbie pat best danny owens and jimmy gordon of the four tunes with marie i understand just how you feel and sugar lump. the wonderful harmonic blend and the drive of billy ward and his dominos with take me back to heaven come to me baby and sweethearts on parade. the cover photo is by burt goldblatt we are grading this album based on the goldmine record album guide.
