Hi there once again eBayers!
Here I am offering a 3 Vinyl Albums Box Set - American Top 40, Program No 763-4, July 24, 1976.
Featuring the famous Casey Kasem, this is the actual radio recording that was shipped around the world for radio play. This has "For b'cast 2CA Sun 1/8/76" in pen on the front of the box. 2CA is a Canberra radio station.
There is a typed running order on 3 blue pages, stapled in the corner. The albums play from No 40 to No 1.
The box and paper sleeves are in good condition.
Conservatively, I would rate the vinyl as Very Good+. There are some minor marks. I have played the vinyl and it plays well. It does not click, skip or stick.
Inside the cover is stamped "Peter Duffy". Peter also stamped his name and the title on one side of the label. This record comes from Peter's vast vinyl collection. We have been informed that Peter was a founder of 3RRR FM radio station in Melbourne, Victoria. I have secured Peter's collection and, in general, it is clear that he had eclectic tastes and valued the vinyl highly. Many of the covers show small to significant wear from storage and I have assumed that the covers held very little interest for him.
