Description

Up for auction is a lot of 3 rare VITADISC label 78 records (10") of Calypso music recorded in Trinidad and pressed in England likely dating to the 1950s.  This lot includes:

VITA.1110 / TC.163: CAKE STICKING - She She Calypso Band w/ Band leader Bert McLean.  On the flip side is ME MAMA SAY NO GIVE - She She Calypso Band

VITA.0120 / TC.181: CAT BRAIN - Spoiler with She She Calypso Band.  On the flip side is COUNTRY GIRL (Carlos Diaz) - Trinidad Panharmonic Orchestra

VITA.1040 / TC.128: JINGLE BELLS - Trinidad Panharmonic Orchestra.  On the flip side is SILENT NIGHT - Trinidad Panharmonic Orchestra

All 3 record have moderate wear but they all look like they will play without skipping.  I don't have a way to play a 78 to test but no wear feels like it will cause a skip.
