description
Prototype was originally privately released in the US in 1982 on Short Circuit Records in a run of 300 copies only and is almost impossible to track down for
a reasonable price. This is the 2008 German repress on Vinyl On Demand expanded by an additional LP called "Garage Tracks" full of unreleased material and
alternate versions and has the catalogue # VOD 51. The record's coming from my own collection and is of course the "subscription members' only" edtion including
a bonus single with unreleased tracks from around the time they recorded Prototype. The member's edition is limited to 300 handnumbered copies. This is copy # 005.
Experimental Products was a synth duo from Philadelphia/Nortern Delaware, USA consisting of Mark Wilde and Michael Gross. They produced fabulous
and deeply structured synth-pop of highest quality that easily stands the test of time. They should not be missed by any lover of such kind of music
and/or serious record collector. The record's coming from my own collection and is as new!
