Sunrise In Different Dimensions 1980 (2-LP, 1981) hat ART 2017 The Mega-Rare Swiss 2-LP Box Set. Vinyl Is Absolutely Gorgeous. The Box... Has Some Issues.
This vinyl is GORGEOUS. It looks unplayed, and rarely was. I guarantee that when you see this vinyl you'll say to yourself, "Hey, this tiny; was rarely played!"... or something like that.
The box, on the other hand, has some issues, and there are a bunch of pics so you can see for yourself. Generally, the box is clean, with sharp corners and only very minimal handling wear. It's made of sturdy cardboard and more durable than most, being a Swiss import. HOWEVER... somewhere along the line, the outside of the box, across the bottom of the front and back, got damaged (as a result of not having a plastic cover big enough to cover it). As you can see by the pics, the bottom is missing some printing. It's a shame, since everything else is in great shape. One other minor issue is a small tear in the opening flap. Look at the back cover pic and you can see it's not bad at all when tucked in. But I included a pic where it's open and it LOOKS a lot worse. Again, because the cardboard is so thick and rigid, it shouldn't be an issue as long as you're just a bit careful when opening. You know how "flap" covers are. At least this one is thick and sturdy. So just be careful. Pics are the actual item you're buying.
Other than those things, you'll be pleased. Includes the original Hat Art paper flyer/catalog. The music includes a Miles Davis cover and THREE Coleman Hawkins compositions. Recorded live on Sunday February 24, 1980 at Gasthof Mohren Willisau/Switzerland. Any questions, just ask.
