Description

Before the Beatles burst out in the early 60s, there were a host of other "Mersey Beat" groups in the Liverpool area.  This 1974 UK production, United Artists Records USD 305/6, compiles some of the highlights of this sound.  Gatefold jacket has light corner wear, little to no edge wear, no marks, rings or splits.  The original owner removed the LPs from their original inner sleeves and put them in generic plastic-lined inner sleeves.  The original sleeves were left in the gatefold and they also are interesting - with Beatle-themed facsimile of advertising.  The other interesting insert was a facsimile "Mersey Beat" newspaper - it is folded now, unsure if it originally was folded in the jacket.  The LPs LOOK GREAT with a few light scratches in the two LPs, will grade VG++.
