First off,I am not a record grader in the sense that the widely accepted view of letter grading vinyl to me has much room for gaps in assessment.I always try to give as much info as I can,so the perspective buyer can make a comfortable judgment  Grading records or anything for that matter is subjective ,and opinions can and do vary.

I tend to be on the very conservative side  about grading (sometimes to the point of "over grading") as I feel its the prudent & diligent  thing,as you are not here making the visual call on the record.I have included an MP3 sample so you can make a judgment on the records playing quality.PLEASE use this mp3 to make your assessment  of the sound.That's why I have it embedded.If you have questions on the sound,or anything else pertaining to the record,email me and I will go over it more,but please don't ignore the tool I have placed to help make the decision,that's what its there for.We all know records can look one way and play another.Please note,I will only vouch for my turntables performance,for as we all know,turntable performance varies from one to another.






Two rare one off big band swing/jazz sessions possibly  recorded at Friedmans record shop in Newark NJ or somewhere in Newark,not sure in either case. 10 inch 78 rpm. If you send an email I will send you link with a picture on his place,which was a music store and sold pool tables.These sessions date to April 4th 1938.Eddie Federicks is listed as the main musician ,but one can only wonder who some of the other players might be.I have mp3 embedded portions of each of the four sides below.For me they played well.Both discs have minor scratches and scuffs.The discs as a whole looks in pretty good shape.This will be packed using my proven sandwich method for 78s.No media mail on shellac discs.Priority only.
