2 GREAT MONO BEATLE ALBUMS "BEATLES VI (SIX)" & "RUBBER SOUL"

ALBUM #1: "BEATLES VI" – You’re looking at a VERY UNUSUAL copy of this classic 45 YEAR OLD ALBUM who’s vinyl has somehow ended up being pressed at TWO DIFFERENT PLANTS. The NEAR MINT VALUE of a normal version of this album is $150.00! Who knows what this one’s worth. I guess that will be up to you fine bidders out there. 

TITLE: "BEATLES VI" (Capitol T-2358 – Mono)

COVER: JACKSONVILLE PRESSING with #4 on back.

RECORD: *** Rare DUAL PRESSING ***

Side 1: EAST COAST "SCRANTON" PRESSING with "IAM Triangle" in trail-off area.

Side 2: WEST COAST "LA" PRESSING with "Star" in trail-off area.

LABELS: SMALL PRINT "IN-HOUSE" JACKSONVILLE LABELS. ?

ALBUM CONDITIONS

ALBUM COVER: (VG+) A solid, nice looking example of this 45 YEAR OLD ALBUM. (SEE IMAGES.)

Front: The front cover slick looks great with just a hint of ringwear near the top. (SEE IMAGES.)

Back: (Has the CORRECT playing order & a "#4" near RIAA symbol.) The back cover has minor ringwear, some scuffing on the black & white photos. (SEE IMAGES.)

Seams: There is a small amount of minor flaking on both seams. 7 inches of the bottom right seam was split and carefully repaired by me with acid-free tape that is hard to detect without putting the cover right under a strong lamp. The two open-end corners have small dings.

Spine: A totally in-tact spine with all its text present and clearly legible. The spine has yellowed a bit, with some minor crinkling and two lightly dinged corners.

VINYL RECORD: (VG)

Record: Play tested. No skips. Has some surface scuffs and light pops which do not affect its play. Both sides still retain some of their original luster. (SEE IMAGES.)

Labels: (Small Print "In-House" Jacksonville Labels..) Both labels look fantastic with only some nearly invisible spindle marks. (SEE IMAGES.)

Sleeve: Comes with original ORANGE Capitol sleeve (Jacksonville PE 12-2F J) in very good condition. (The record will be shipped inside a generic sleeve in order to protect the original sleeve.)

ALBUM #2: "RUBBER SOUL" – You’re looking at a really nice Mono copy of this historic 45 YEAR OLD ALBUM. that has a NEAR MINT VALUE of $175.00!

TITLE: "RUBBER SOUL" (Capitol T-2442 – Mono)

FIRST PRESSING – 1965

COVER: WEST COAST "LA" PRESSING with #5 on back.

RECORD: WEST COAST "LA" PRESSING with "Star" in trail-off area.

LABELS: WEST COAST LABELS without "BEATLES" above their names. ?

ALBUM CONDITIONS

ALBUM COVER: (VG) A fine example of this groundbreaking 45 YEAR OLD ALBUM. (SEE IMAGES.)

Front: The front cover slick is nice and dark, with just the slightest hint of ringwear starting to show. Someone wrote "Stipp" in pen at the bottom center. (SEE IMAGES.)

Back: (West Coast #5 near RIAA symbol.) The back cover has minor ringwear and some light yellowing around the edges. (SEE IMAGES.)

Seams: Both seams have yellowed a bit. The bottom seam has a half-inch split at both ends. The two open end corners have small dings.

Spine: Very yellowed with a half-inch piece missing at the center. All its text is present and mostly legible. The title reads pretty good, but the logo & catalog # are somewhat worn away. Both corners are frayed.

VINYL RECORD: (VG)

Record: Play tested. No skips. Has some surface scuffs and light pops which do not affect its play. Both sides still retain a good amount of their original luster. It sounds so good that I wanted to give it a VG+, but I decided to play it safe. (SEE IMAGES.)
