Description

I'm not sure if this was a home recording of war news. These are recorded on Silvertone Recording Discs and it's not a very good quality recording but you can easily understand what is being said. These records feature the August 14, 1945 surrender of Japan radio broadcast and the September 2, 1945 signing of the peace treaty with Japan. Both records are dirty and have plenty of background noise but they are still historically important records.
