*** Both the front and back images of this rare ORIGINAL FIRST GREEK PRESSING 7" vinyl single along with A & B side labels are shown above and further down.
The item available here is an EXCELLENT CONDITION (almost near mint) original RARE FIRST ORIGINAL GREEK PRESSING 7" VINYL SINGLE of the 1981 Greek Eurovision song from YIANNIS DIMITRAS and "FEGGARI KALOKERINO" in the original Greek version just as it was performed on the Eurovision stage. The B-side features the INSTRUMENTAL VERSION of "FEGGARI KALOKERINO". This rare ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING 7" single was issued by the Greek PHILIPS record label (6060 349) and was never originally issued in Greece with a picture sleeve on 7" but for my own collection I produced a top quality glossy 'original colour scheme' picture card sleeve with the correct Greek record label logo and catalogue number also added! This is a unique professional looking one-off picture sleeve issued especially for this rare copy of the original GREEK PRESSING I have on auction. Remember, it was never issued with a picture sleeve in Greece back in 1981 so this picture sleeve is the first edition. The clean and shiny vinyl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with only minimal signs of any previous use. This is a wonderful opportunity to add an ORIGINAL RARE COLLECTABLE GREEK FIRST PRESSING 7" Eurovision single with a unique high quality print picture sleeve to your record collection! The exact items I have on auction can be seen on the camera photos both above and below. This is the ONLY copy I have among my stocks of the GREEK pressing and the picture sleeve is UNIQUE so once this copy has sold it will not be available like this ever again!
Back in the eighties and nineties I was quite well known among many Eurovision collectors around the world as I always stocked a large selection of Eurovision records and CD's and during the nineties even arranged and financed the official release to press some of the more rare entries for wider availability to collectors. I provided a Discography and photos of all Eurovision releases in the UK for RECORD COLLECTOR magazine and provided recordings and worked to get clearance for tracks on an official UK Eurovision CD release issued by VIRGIN. Due to moving house my Eurovision vinyl has been in safe storage for almost a decade. I have recently acquired back the very last copies of my Eurovision vinyl stocks. In many cases I am down to my very last copy of each entry, especially those in mint condition and I now plan to sell everything over the upcoming months, so keep checking back each week for new additions to my listings.
