Description

Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction Original first pressing from UK/Europe released 1987 by Geffen Records (924 148-1 or UK: WX 125) and Uzi Suicide Records.  This is the first pressing with the uncensored cover and sticker (see pictures) that says "CONTAINS LYRICS WHICH SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND OFFENSIVE 924 148-1".  The cover features Robert Williams' original album artwork which was later withdrawn and replaced   with a tattoo-styled, skulls-and-crossbones motif.  The UK catalogue number (WX 125) appears on the back cover and spine (unliked the RSA pressing from 1987).
This version includes the original printed inner sleeve with lyrics, credits and photographs of the band members.  This is also one of the copies that includes a white Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction sticker and the unused sticker is included in this listing.  There's also a generic white inner sleeve that a previous owner was using, but I will ship the disc in a new audiophile sleeve and a protective outer plastic sleeve over the album cover.
The sleeve grades as VG+.  Again, original inserts are in very good condition and included.  The sleeve retains its original gloss and color on both front and back.  There is some ring wear that is mostly visible when looking at an angle in light.  Edgewear is actually minimal (mostly a little finger bend near the top of the open side) and the seams and spine are strong and intact.  Corners retain their points despite some wear.  There are some small (~1 cm) horizontal crease marks along the spine, mostly in front but a few are on the back too.  The back has two light scratches around Slash's hair and in between Duff and Axl/Izzy and the aforementioned ring wear.  Overall the sleeve is in really good condition.
The vinyl grades as Strong VG+.  It is shiny with no marks visible to the naked eye.  Under direct bright light, each side has a handful of light surface marks/scratches/hairlines but honestly not a lot for the age of the disc and none impact the play back.  The grade of Strong VG+ is applied because the play testing is super clean, with clear, crisp music and no background/surface noise or other deficiencies.  The vinyl looking nice is just a plus.  But really this disc plays almost like new and the minor surface marks under bright light are the only thing that tells you it's not new.  The labels are in pristine condition.
Shipping price includes insurance and signature upon delivery; if you don't want the signature requirement I can refund $4 on shipping.
