PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! After winning a musical contest, Eloy recorded their legendary first album at Star Studio Hamburg in 1971, which was released by major label Philips Records in a small amount of 1.000 copies only.
Unlike their following progressive styled albums, this LP is pure 1971 heavy rock with hints of psychedelia in the Krautrock vein. Produced by Conny Plank

Opening track "Today," has classic dominate guitar loud and agressive drums UK attack after a tripped-out spacey introduction The overall sound is dark and deep with a heavy focus on throbbing guitar and percussion. More rooted in bluesy hard rock than in prog when heavy guitar riffs & leads amid solo parts are overwhelming.
This is a fine psych-rocking effort when early Black Sabbath at least influences
Frank Bornemann (guitar), Manfred Wieczorke (guitar, bass, vocals), Wolfgang Stöcker (bass), Erich Schriever (lead vocals, organ) and Helmuth Draht (drums) create this "Krautrock" masterpiece.
Lead vocalist Erich Schriever actually has a great rock voice adding a rough sound to this album, all songs are dynamic, full of 70's great heavy edges loads with wild guitar solos and bold aggressive highlights
