Description

Here's a very rare cassette pressing of the "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" masterpiece LP from Norway's most infamous black metal band ever.  No need for an introduction really here....this is one of the most important albums of all time for metal as a whole, and certainly for the genre of black metal.  Arguably this bands best album.

This cassette version was licensed by a label called "043", located in the Russian Federation and was released sometime around 94/95 if my research serves me correctly.  I'm not sure how many copies were made, but I can't imagine it was more than 300 - 500. I've never seen this for sale anywhere (new or used) except for when I bought it from a collector in the UK while visiting in 2010.  (I'm a bit obsessed with collecting this bands releases, all of them, each version.)  I'm parting with some doubles or more that I have of certain titles to raise some money for a personal project I'd like to embark on thats going to be expensive, so I'm parting ways with some of my gems, this being one of them.

Jcard is a simple 2-panel, double sided printed jcard on thick stock.  cassette is white with black print on either side.  The album plays in full on both sides.  Audio still sounds great.  This might have been played once by me, and probably the same can be said of it's previous owner (as he too had a hundred versions of this classic.)   

Included in this auction is an 11x17" poster that is the original Misanthropy Records promotional poster for this record when it came out.  It's in pretty good shape, no tears or major damage, and no pin holes / tape on the corners.  It is folded in half, however.  I can send this folded (inside some thick cardboard / support of some sort on either side and inserted into a large / thick envelope with the tape in a smaller bubble envelope next to it in the big outer envelope / mailer, OR, i can send the two separate for an extra shipping charge and send the poster in a small poster tube rolled up for you.  Totally up to the buyer.  Just message me if you want to do something that's going to require to postage purchases before you pay your invoice, please.
