THE PLATINUM SERIES BEATLES COLLECTION (1984)(Extremely Rare ~ 30 Years old Now Classic Personal Gift Collection )This very rare, 16 LP set was originally issued only as a gift, at the introduction of Capitol Records commercial line of computer software in 1984. This exclusive set was manufactured in very small numbers and was only given to Capitol executives and close friends of the company, in celebration of the launch of Capitol’s Data Systems Division. It rarely appears on the collectors market and is a collector’s must have!The slipcase is silver with black print "Compliments of Capitol Data Systems a Division of Capitol Records." The LP’s are U.S. issue. Collectors are not likely to see another “The Platinum Series Beatles Collection” on the market in the foreseeable future!This item is in amazing condition: The Slipcase has scuffs from storage. 1 of the albums remain factory sealed and in mint condition the rest were open carefully. And still have the factory plastic on "one of the record covers has a small bent on one of the cover .The collection will be shipped in a sturdy box surrounded by packing materials to protect it in shipment. Shipment will be insured upon buyers request.
