This item shows shelf wear and has not been opened except for the pictures. The records are mint unused. The Concert of the Century at Carnegie Hall

DELUXE LIMITED FIRST EDITION, one of only 1000 copies. Illustrated with signed portraits of Leonard Bernstein, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Vladimir Horowitz, Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich and Isaac Stern.

A magnificent production, issued to commemorate the famous concert-celebration held by the Carnegie Hall Society on Tuesday 18th May, 1976, in honor of the 85th anniversary of Carnegie Hall and the establishment of its national endowment fund. Elegantly housed in full Samoa calf portfolio with handmade French marbled endpapers. With two vinyl records of the concert recorded live at Carnegie Hall.
