1975 Rock-Ola Jukebox Model 360
I've owned this Jukebox since 1986 and my dad owned it prior to me. I don't know if he bought it used or new.
The sound system on this machine is amazing. Even though I have a the most modern stereo equipment, The jukebox has been the life of every party I've ever hosted. My guest's eyes lit up with pleasure when they entered the rec room and saw it, which made mingling and dancing a breeze because inevitable people gravitated to it. The volume is adjustable for slow dancing or bump and grind. When the volume is turned up, which happens more frequently with each shot taken, this jukebox rocks the house.
Aside from parties, I use it to banish melancholy from my mind. Just turning the volume up loud jars my mind enough to erase all other thoughts. It's also perfect for loosing ones self in the music and a bottle of wine. I doubt Mr. Rockola knew how therapeutic this machine would become, or perhaps he did, and that's why he lived to be 96 years old.
This machine holds 100, 45 rpm records for 200 song plays (Both sides of a record may be played). I'm including my hand selected records in the purchase price. The records were chosen to please my guest's varied taste and of course my own personal favorites. They range from Oldies to Country to Rock.
Condition:
This Jukebox is being sold "AS IS." I can not make any warranties or guarantee's about the mechanics because I don't know anything about it. I'm a woman with absoultely no interest in what makes it work, only that it does. I've had it serviced by a professional technician once per year since I've owned it and if something didn't work right, I called him to fix it. What I do know is it sounds great to me and when I push the buttons, a song plays. I did have the technician disable the coin box because I got tired of flipping that free play switch all the time.
I'm happy to make arrangements for you to hear it play on the phone. Just email me. There are dings and scratches on some surfaces. The machine is 36 years old and has seen it's share of partying. Because I don't know how to grade condition, I'm calling it 'satisfactory used condition'.
Local Pick Up:
Something I do know about is transporting this Jukebox. I moved it here one year ago when I downsized. It was uncommonly easy to move. Two guys backed the pick up to the front porch, rolled it across the hard wood floor and onto the back of the truck. It did not appear to me they were under any strain. When it arrived, they rolled it off the truck to the front porch and across the hard wood floor to it's present spot. I plugged it in and worked as great as it always has.
Once this jukebox leaves my door, It's your responsiblity. I've taken care of it for the past 25 years, but I can't be responsible for someone else's handling of it. There is a possiblity of my nephew agreeing to deliver it to you, depending up your location. I can't make any promises on his behalf, but If it's something you're interested in, we can talk to him.
