Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one a program of American Top 40 hits from March 3rd, 1973, moderated by Casey Kasem. This is one of his earlier shows, based on info I've found on the Internet.

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, the records retains the original shine with a few light/moderate marks, grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least VG+(excellent). If you want an audio grade of an entire record before bidding, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.

If an audio grade is given, you can assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below.

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no past/present sales on e-bay. NO COPIES FOUND FOR SALE OUT ON THE INTERNET!

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship Lp's in 12 1/4" x 12 1/4" x 1" boxes. As of 8:26:2014, I will add either some bubble wrap or some small, squishy foam padding on top to help prevent postal abuse. Weight with box is about 1 13 oz. Shipping is: $3.17 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.19 box/tape/packing + $1.05 delivery confirmation = $5.41.
Alternatively, I can ship an LP in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 5 oz. Shipping is $3.65 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $2.10 box/tape/packing + $1.05 delivery confirmation = $6.80.

This auction is currently pegged for shipping in the smaller box. If you want the larger box and/or insurance, let me know before paying and I'll send a revised invoice, it will cost more for shipping.
