Offered is a NM- copy of John Lennon's Mother 45 and a VG condition 45 Picture Sleeve from 1971 mfg by Apple Records, record ID # 1827. This is one of the harder to find John Lennon solo 45 Picture Sleeves. This sleeve is only VG condition as it has a bit of ring wear, heavy 45 impression and much creasing, especially near the 4 corners of each side of the sleeve. There are no tears, not even a tiny tear. We tried to show the creasing by taking photos under a bright light. The 45 is in Near Mint- condition and is a MONO copy of the song Mother. The 45 is a rare version because the stamper originally came from the Scranton PA Capitol Records factory, and was then modified by the Winchester,VA Capitol factory to add their factory etching in the deadwax '-----<'. Winchester scratched out the Scranton factory etching: 'IAM' inside a tiny triangle.
