Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

MINTY CLEAN and quite scarce edition, even though it's not the first printing - it still is an ages old, presumably UK edition with impeccable masterphonics wide range sound ... totally unreleased in the retail market - the exact same issue currently at set sale $$$ on eBay ... make no mistake - this is Led Zeppelin at their peak powers... Led Zeppelin had many appearances on the BBC during their first year of existence. This one has always stood out from the others because it is the only one to be taped in front of a live audience. They sound very raw and it captures the excitement of their early live show. Recording: fantastic stereo professional recording.Source: In Concert, London, England Apr. 1 '71.
Led Zeppelin began recording on April 1, 1971 between 9-10:45 PM. The performance was for BBC Radio 1 'In Concert' and tape delayed on air, broadcast on radio April 4th at 7pm
The next day after the recording, on April 2, 1971, Jimmy & Robert returned to the Paris Cinema Theatre to supervise the editing of the night's performance into the LP format.
Documents found a few years ago revealed how, before the radio broadcast, Jimmy stepped in after their recording and advised that Led Zeppelin was withdrawing their approval of the show, demanding that the recording not be made available to the rest of the world. Jimmy eventually ended up remixing the recording. A BBC memo shows the group felt "this will be better technically both for the BBC and for us and it will cost the same amount of money". This is a explosive set - recommended to all Zeppelin and all '60s/'70s hardrock fans. Introduction Immigrant Song Heartbreaker Black Dog Going To California That's The Way What Is and What Should Never Be Communication Breakdown Stairway To Heaven Medly (Whole Lotta Love/That's Alright (Mama)/Mess of Blues.)
CONDITION: The Cover: the VERY fragile (thin) cover is bright and clean and collectible rated in "EX" (excellent) = has a couple of light handling spider web like ceases (no heavy bends) and otherwise would have been rated M- ... there are no split seams and no writing ...
The Vinyl: rated visually near M- and plays fantastic ... just carefully played it - whew...
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
