Very rare and vey wanted....1968 release on the obscure San Francisco Sound label featuring a host of delightful and highly collectible underground SF Psychedelic garage bands, some who never made it past this album but are very very worthy and others who made a name for themselves on the scene ...all in all a killer rarity chok full of terrific psychedelia....the tracks are ALL eclusive & better versions to this rarity (i.e. It's A Beautiful Day)...

 Produced by Rusty Evans of the The Freak Scene, Third Bardo and...THE DEEP association...This is a fabulous collection of bands from San Francisco that delivers in full. Tripsichord Music Box and It's A Beautiful Day turn in some of their best tracks ever and the obscure acts are great too, particularly Indian Puddin & Pipe who contribute heavily to the acid rock aura surroundings of this album with "Hashish" and "Water or Wine." Black Swan are also featured. This was an attempt from notorious (ex-Moby Grape manager) scoundrel Matthew Katz to cash in on the S F scene and as far as music goes, he succeeded. Most tracks were recorded in 1967.

CONDITION: The thick gatefold cover is all around solid with light shelf wear, VG+  having no seam splits, no bends and no writing anywhere...

The vinyl is lightly marked, mostly just light soft scuffs, visual VG(+), it plays enjoyable ++ with no problems and actually very enjoyable...at worse just some light surface in quiet spots (i.e. between tracks) ...plays better than it looks.

       

      A cool addition to anyone's music library!
