**CLEAN** ORIGINAL 1967 first pressing vinyl of the 2nd 'freak brothers' styled stoner heads album ...This is our 2nd favorite Nitty Gritty Dirt Band album 'cause it's fresh, original, and there was nothing else like it and the first album when it came out in '67. The kind of record that makes you feel good, especially if you've had a glass or two of wine, beer, 'other', and the 'other' would be most suitable meeting this album 'head to head...sort of speak...Listening to it today brings a flood of memories about those good times in the sixties. The Teddy Bears' Picnic is a real grabber, and the rest of the songs are good too, demonstrating musical virtuousity and the mind set to be different in a time zone of garage rock & psychedelic directions. It's definitely not the country music set the band later became...more freak brothers hippie rock - it's trippy and nostalgic. If you can listen to it without smiling, get thee to a shrink!
