We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

As hard to find and scarce in MONO as the first DOORS "mono" ...
Original 1967 first pressing vinyl in glorious MONO on the famously collected GOLD Elektra label ....usually found worn and beat, here a CLEAN survivor....the RARE mono release offers a vastly different sound from the stereo copy with a bold punch in the playback production...
Elektra Records knew what was hot in the music world of 1967, having just had a monumental hit at the hands of the DOORS first album, they arranged to release this way-out psychedelic sounds album with dark overtones & loads of wiggy effects that included mystical sounds and trippy recitation voices...
A group of musicians teamed up as Zodiac to perform the astral- psychedelia of Mort Garson (music) and Jacques Wilson (words) on their 1967 album, Cosmic Sounds. The result was something like a cross-bred monster of Sunset Strip psychedelic rock and the kind of incidental music that you heard on the original Star Trek when aliens appeared on the screen. Each of the 12 tracks is named after a sign of the horoscope (thus the title Cosmic Sounds, get it?) Narrator Cyrus Faryar aims for a balance between Timothy Leary and Rod McKuen as he intones recklessly spaced-out evocations of each phase of the cycle. It's got plenty of sitars, acid-rock guitar, haunting hippie organ, almost-exotic percussion. The overlayed spoken words are just too much and have to be heard to be believed. What's your sign, baby?
Zodiac Cosmic Sounds was cited by Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues as one of the inspirations for their classic "Days of Future Passed" Lp.

CONDITION: The cover: is stiff and solid all over, VG++ as with a little light shelf wear (nothing bad at all, just bit of light wear)... nice collectible with NO split seams, no bends, no writing....
The vinyl: is all glossy on both sides, VG++ having no more than very light scuffs like from inner sleeve paper or careful handling along the 43 years of its existence... play graded thrillingly enjoyable with no real audio problems at all = clean....and MONO
keeper!
