Description

Here we have an extremely rare 1964 compact 33 of "The Beatles Second Album Open-End Interview". This is the Promo# 2598/9 which was to promote the LP "Beatles Second Album on Capitol # T2080. This was given to DJs to make it sound like the Beatles were actually in the studio giving an interview. Story has it that there are only 10 copies left in Mint to Near Mint condition and this one is in the top 3. If you are a Beatle collector you know what this is and how hard it is to find, let alone in this condition! It's even tougher to find the sleeve with the record! Side one has the interview and "Roll Over Beethoven" while side 2 has " Please Mr. Postman" and "Thank You Girl". This compact 33 has the Star Stamp in the trail-off proving this is an original Los Angeles pressing. I can't stress enough how rare it is to find a NM to M copy of this 33 with sleeve! Most in the top 5 are selling for $5000 and up ! This vinyl has never seen a needle or touched a turntable!!! The Sleeve is shiny and flat and is almost perfect other then a very tiny 1/16 tear at the top that is very hard to see and a slight vinyl imprint on the back. The sleeve is also the die-cut top. You might not ever see another copy like this one! Take a look at the web for another example of this Rare Gem!!!  I grade the sleeve Mint- and the Vinyl labels Mint, and the Vinyl it's self Mint  Any questions, feel free to ask. Happy Bidding!!!
