Description
On the eBay block here, Challenge records CH-617, Soul Surfin by the Rhythm Rockers, with liner notes by Southern California disk jockey, Wink Martindale.
CONDITION: In excellent shape; I found under magnification, only three fine scratches and light scuffs, with no tactile scratches, chips, warps or cracks to report. Appears seldom played. Labels look near pristine and the jacket shows only light wear with no seam splits. Insert sleeve is included.
NOTE: I am not a collector, and so will not presume to grade records. My only credentials in this regard is a 25-year history as a radio disk jockey back in the days when disk jockey’s actually played disks. Records listed by eroom3 are cleaned and then visually inspected under magnification before a condition opinion is provided. "Tactile" scratches are detected by feel using the thumb-nail test and may likely result in a pop when played, "fine" scratches and scuffs, as described, are less likely to produce noise.
