Up for auction is an EXTREMELY RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE LP!!

Artist:  Adrian and the Sunsets
The group consisted of (each with a photo and brief biography on the back of the album): Adrian Lloyd, age 18 (band leader, drummer, vocalist, writer, actor, formerly with The Rumblers) Ron Eglit, age 17 (lead guitar, formerly with The Emeralds) Dick Lambert, age 16 (bass, rhythm guitar) Bruce Riddar, age 17 (tenor saxophone, formerly with The Emeralds) Clyde Brown, age 17 (rhythm guitar) Bobby Forest, age 13 (vocalist, guitar)
Label:  Sunset Records (Sheets Enterprises, Inc.), 1312 W. Garvey Avenue, Monterey Park, California.
This is the ORIGINAL 1963 issue by Sunset Records, NOT the 1995 French re-issue on the Surf label and NOT the 2013 re-issue by Sundazed Music!  It also has the special feature of multicolored (psychedelic) vinyl, rather than black vinyl.  In the bottom right corner of the front of the album is the number "SE 63-601-a".  The "a" means that this is a monaural (mono) recording.  
Side 1 (SE-63-601-A):  Breakthrough; Donna (Vocal Bobby Forest); Slippin'; I Don't Need You No More (Adrian); Nothing But Drums (Part 1); Nothing But Drums (Part 2) (For Surfers Only) Side 2 (SE-63-601-B):  Wipe Out; Boss; Surfer Joe (Vocal by Adrian); Pipeline; Stomping Time; Justine (Vocal by Adrian)
This highly promising group played together for only about a year, releasing one album (Breakthrough) and two singles.  The group fell apart due to disputes, including financial, between the band members and aspiring mogul Bob Sheets (who had originally put the group together).
