Description

Here's a Beatles Please Please Me Lp made in India.parlophone label # PMC 1202.Cover is kind of a thinner type cardboard not thick like U.S. Lps.Cover has clear tape across both seams and also the spine Please see picture.Looks like they were all split at one time and repaired with clear tape. The front cover has wavyness on the colored picture pretty much on the entire front cover. The cardboard under the picture is not wavy at all as it's only the paper over the cardboard that has the wavyness lines Please see picture.Back cover has Eccles written near the upper right corner.Tiny tear on back cover on left edge where record slides in.It's very small only.A small piece of the tape came loose on back cover on spine near upper right corner.Only about a one inch section of the tape on back cover only. The matrix number on record is XEX 421-IN on side one and XEX 422-IN on side two.Label Has Regd.TD Mks.of the Gramophone Co Ltd. under the yellow Parlophone.Side one of record has twelve light non feelable scratches.has one scratch that measures one inch that can be felt lightly.Has one long skinny feelable scuff line.Side two has seven light non feelable scratches and also four feelable scratches. There's an area between the 4 and the 5 O Clock area that has several very light fine scratches caused by scuffing and not an actual needle. These scratches are very light and fine so they will not affect play.Record has some groove wear but still has good shine on both sides.
