Description
This is the quintessential collection of pop hits from the early to mid 1960s. Records in this case include: Beatles (Twist & Shout, I Wanna Hold Your Hand), Turtles, Monkees, Elvis, Manfred Mann, Leslie Gore, B J Thomas, Bobby Darin, Sergio Mendes, Chubby Checker (The Twist), and lots more. They appear to be in very good condition. The records are sandwiched between numbered slots in the record case. The striped case is in excellent condition. Also includes a popular Kansas City radio station flyer with the "Top 40 Hits of the Week," dated August 18, 1967. Number one was "Ode to Billy Joe." On the opposite side is a photo and signed autograph of the top R&R local DJ of the time, Johnny Dolan. A 45rpm pop-in insert for playing 45s on a hi-fi is also in the case.
