Description
This week I am offering a treasure trove: I found a small pile of unused Esquires, and sorted through them with a bright light to identify the best condition ones, lacking storage damage, and any spindle marks of being played by customers in the shop. No marks to playing surfaces or labels. These are the ones that are like they came out of the factory 60 years ago. Some of these are changing hands for healthy three figures, and if you have a sleeve with a worn one in, you have hit the jackpot. we do combine shipping to save money for you.
Near mint vinyl 1958 Unplayed new Old Stock Lester Young ''Pres"
Esquire 32 158 Mono. This is a small group bop date, and although there is a Charlie parker records logo on the label, it is not the LP called Pres on that or subsequent 60s onwards issues, as the track lengths are very different, the other later lp is referred to as having studio dates on it, and the titles vary. Should be enough difference, no?. It is also not related to the Norgran 1952 Pres lp by anything other than date and title, different content and band. I had seen a reference to this in the Wynton Kelly discography, which refers to a 1985 vinyl and Cd release (of this exact band and material), but none stateside any earlier. Here it is:

Plain sleeve, with a printed reproduction of the front included, as shown. This is fully near mint. It looks like new. Look at the high definition pics of the labels to confirm this. Sent to you in a new poly outer, with the lp behind the sleeve, cleaned on a wash and vac Moth record cleaning machine with "art du son" fluid and distilled water unless the clean is not required by request.
