Description

Hello, and thanks for looking. Please excuse any not-so-great pics; still getting the hang of it.

This is a very nice original 10" 195l LP record by various artists, "Backwoods Blues" on Riverside records, RLP1039. It's mono, on the white Riverside label, has a nice Robert Lee cover drawing, and features 8 cuts by 4 quite rare and obscure but amazing early blues artists, recorded between 1927 and 1932 -- Bobby Grant, Buddy Boy Hawkins, King Solomon Hill, and Big Bill Johnson. Songs include Nappy Head Blues, Gond Dead Train, Tell Me Baby, Jailhouse Fire Blues, and more. Excellent vintage stuff! Both cover and record are a solid VG+, and record plays FAR better. Scarce and long out of print.

Please note that postage will be higher than ebay's forced $4 limit ... you simply cannot mail a properly-packaged LP for $4 today! Please wait for an invoice if you're the winning bidder.

As per ebay rules, we only accept paypal. Whenever possible, we will combine shipping on multiple purchases. Also, please note we mail weekly, not daily.

Bid with confidence, and check out our other auctions !
