Here is a MEGA RARE 10" Jazz album offered up for auction: An original pressing of The Bud Shank Quintet "Compositions of Shorty Rogers". Bud's debut album featuring Jimmy Rowles Harry Babasin, Roy hart and Shorty Rogers! This hard to find Jazz relic has been well loved and is still an enjoyable listen!! This album was released in 1954 on Nocturne Records NLP-2 (mono). This heavy weight 10" 33 1/3 RPM record grades VG+, is clean and glossy, has a few light marks, nothing heavy. Has has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with good sound quality, mostly clear sound with some light noise throughout, no skips no jumps, still a very enjoyable listen after 61 years! The cover rates VG+, cover notes on back are EX, all still readable, seams have been neatly taped, no signatures, no age discoloration, light wear at 3 corners (see photos).
