Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade piece of industrial and Middle Eastern oil exploration ephemera. This is a complete, 19-record phonograph set of the 1950 "Introduction to Spoken Arabic of Eastern Saudi Arabia" training course, published internally by the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco).This specific set includes its highly coveted original shipping box and mailing label, documenting its historic transit from the famous Allied Record Manufacturing Co. in Hollywood, CA, directly to the Aramco office in Hawthorne, California. All 19 records are individually sleeved, exceptionally clean, and free of cracks. A masterpiece of mid-century corporate history and linguistics.
