VINTAGE 1941 COLUMBIA RADIO TRANSCRIPTION 16" DISC 20th Century Fox presents  "THAT NIGHT IN RIO"  Featuring Don Ameche, Alice Faye, Carmen Miranda and Alfred Newman's Music
This is an original 16" radio transcription disc (air-trailer) produced by Columbia . These discs were never sold to the public. they were pressed in very limited quantities and shipped exclusively to radio stations as a broadcasted promo "trailer" for the movie's upcoming local release. It is a 33-1/3 rpm, however it will not play on a normal home turntable due to the 16" size. It requires a larger vintage transcription turntable used by radio stations. It was intended to be destroyed after use. Fortunately, this one was stored away and was saved from extinction.
