(Professionally cleaned with Project VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner)

This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

Wonderful, heavy vinyl, with only light marks to her.
I have just finished listening to all of her (LOUD) and found only some very light background noise, which wasn't particularly noticable once the songs got going. There is a superb, rich and deep bass reproduction.
One track 1, side 1 there are 3 tiny skips-not sure why as I cannot see the offending mark-but nothing terrible at all.

 There's barely any central hole wear as you can see in the pictures. The labels stand out nice and clean, with no writing or rips.
It has an outer indentation to the label, roughly 1cm in from the edge of the label.
"MADE IN INDIA"

NO tax code, of course.

 It is the ORIGINAL Use Emitex inner
It is firmly in the record sleeve and I have not made any attampt to take it out.
There is a tear to the opening, but remains ALL ORIGINAL.
Certainly done her job in keeping the record in great condition!

Very rare 1st pressing front laminated front cover, with the 3 flipbacks.
DUM DUM INDIA.
Made by "Eagle Litho."
 As you can see by the images, this cover has a lot of wear.
The back card has 1/4 of it torn off and the spine is split.
HOWEVER, the front is in a very respectable state and would be displayed very well too.
NO WRITING.
