Up for auction is a collection of approximately 1500 45's that covers the history of popular rock and roll music (and some country music)from approx 1960-to 1988. The original owner of this collection worked in the music distribution business and had put aside these with the plans on buying a juke box, but she died of cancer before she could make her dreams come true.All of these records are in very good condition--I played a random assortment of about 30 of them and there is no back ground noise or scratches on any of them.Many of the records look like they have never been played.All of them have sleeves--although I would estimate only about 40% have the original sleeves.About 20% have picture sleeves.Some are original releases although I would estimate 60%+ are re-releases.About 100 have a different artist on each side.There are some that are labelled Promotional Only.I live in Canada so most would be Canadian releases.Combined the records weigh about 140 pounds so depending on how you want them shipped and where you live I would probably have to ship them in 2 or 3 boxes.There are some duplicates. Artists include --The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, Brenda Lee, Elvis Presley,Bryan Adams, Johnny Rivers,Little Eva,John Lennon, George Harrison,Clint Black, The Big Bopper, Little Richard, Van Halen, Janis Joplin etc etc etc.
