TITLE/ARTIST: I'm finally back from all my travels, and ready to regularly begin listing records once more--so please keep checking my site (rogersrecords). This rare and highly collectible 1967 LP (their very 1st) is on the rather obscure but original, green and yellow, International Artists Label, and is entitled "The Psychedelic Sounds Of The 13th Floor Elevators", by the highly collectible late '60's group, The 13th Floor Elevators. Although they had only had one big hit record ("You're Gonna Miss Me" which is on this LP), they are very sought after in the collector's market. Please check out all the photos included below! LABEL INFORMATION: As mentioned above, it is on the original, 1st pressing, green and yellow, International Artists Label, IA-LP-1.  VINYL CONDITION: The vinyl is in very nice condition and looks almost unplayed, but not quite. There are a couple clearly visible light surface/paper ines in a couple of places----but, nothing that effects the LP's play at all, and really doesn't distract from the appearance all that much either, in my opinion. Other than this, the vinyl  looks extremely clean and nice----in fact, practically "like new" to my eyes---otherwise. JACKET CONDITION: The jacket has problems---espiecally in the lower right corner (front and back side), and along the entire open seam. Apparently some moisture was a part of this jacket's life along the way somewhere, and it has done some damage to the areas mentioned above. These flaws are clearly visible in the pictures below, but if you really think you need additional photos, just write and I will send them off to you (check it out)!! INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this original and very rare LP out there any more, espiecally with the vinyl in this kind of really good condition. In addition, I have other rare 1950-70's LP's/EP's/45's to list in my current and upcoming auctions, so please continue to check out this site.
