The 13th Floor Elevators: "The Psychedelic Sounds Of: The 13th Floor Elevators"

1966, USA/International Artist L.P. - 1 A - No.1 MONO

This is a crazy-rare original issue DJ/PROMOTIONAL copy of this LP.  The label is white and light blue (not the usual yellow and green), and has PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE printed across the top (see photo).  FOR BROADCAST NOT FOR SALE is stamped on the back in red ink and upside down (also visible in photo).

The disc has a few really light light hairlines, nearly invisible.  I would conservatively rate it a VG or VG+

Cover has a bit of very light ringwear about 1" long and about 1/2" of light peeling (can't really call it a split) on the outer edge.  It is VG+ at least.

This record is really in beautiful shape; I have never seen another DJ copy with the white and blue label in anywhere near this condition.  We should all look this good at 41.
