Description
Up for bid is this very rare original 1st pressing of The Psychedelic Sounds of the Thirteenth Floor Elevators LP on the International Artists label, LP 1-A No. 1, Stereo, from 1967. Classic psychedelic album, featuring the sounds of the Austin, Texas - based Elevators as led by frontman Roky Erickson.
Songs include: You’re Gonna Miss Me, Roller Coaster, Splash 1, Reverberation (Doubt), Don’t Fall Down, Fire Engine, Thru the Rhythm, You Don’t Know, Kingdom of Heaven, Monkey Island, Tried to Hide.
The cover is in excellent condition, back has very light ring wear, no side splits, writing, or marks. The disc is overall, in EXCELLENT condition. Disc is perfectly flat, with a very minor light scratch on side 1. (will not affect play)
The LP was stored vertically at normal room temperature since purchase in 1967. This is a record that was played infrequently and was well-cared for.
There aren’t many like this around!
