PLEASE READ!!!!
THIS COLLECTION BELONGED TO A FRIEND WHO LIKED DRINKING, SMOKING AND LISTENING TO RECORDS (IN THAT ORDER). BECAUSE OF THIS THE RECORD HAVE NOT BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER!!!!! A LOT OF THE RECORDS ARE SCRATCHED, THE SLEEVES ARE DAMAGED AND SOME MAY EVEN BE MISSING THE SLEEVES OR RECORDS!
THE PHOTO OF LED ZEPPELIN’S FIRST ALBUM ILLUSTRATES THE CONDITION OF THE SLEEVES / RECORDS. SOME WILL NOT PLAY WELL, IF AT ALL. SOME SLEEVE ARE TORN, SOME INSIDE SLEEVES ARE MISSING.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS AUCTION IF YOU WANT CLEAN, RECORD SHOP LEVEL RECORDS, THESE ARE NOT THOSE SORTS OF RECORDS. THE PERSON WHO THESE RECORDS BELONGED TO WAS A CHAOTIC CHARACTER WHO HAD EXCELLENT TASTE BUT A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE TOWARDS HIS POSESSIONS. SOME OF THESE RECORDS WERE BOUGHT AT THE TIME OF RELEASE BUT SOME ARE FROM CAR BOOT SALES AND SECOND HAND SHOPS. I REPEAT THESE ARE NOT IN NICE CONDITION!!!!
THERE ARE STRICTLY NO RETURNS ON THIS AUCTION.
There are 1500+ records (the bulk are shows in photo 1 although I missed a couple of bags totalling 120 records in this photo). Only a small portion are individually photographed, those pictured were selected randomly from the lot and are representative of the type of music and quality of the records. Plenty of: Beatles, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Free, Queen, Santana, Thin Lizzy etc etc etc.
Due to the volume of records this is collection only from Cardiff. I might be able to deliver them within a certain distance but please contact me before bidding.
I am not entirely against the idea of sending the records but I do not have the time nor the inclination to pack up the records for a courier so if you can arrange something that means that I do not have to spend any time, money or effort getting them ready for sending then let me know. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING IF YOU WANT TO PROPOSE A WAY THAT I CAN SEND THEM AS I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BOX THEM UP.
