DESCRIPTION
An immaculate 1st pressing of this now very scarce 4 track EP (plays at 33rpm) from political-folk outfit Redgum that includes ‘Fabulon’ …..their parody of ‘Rivers Of Babylon’.Aside from Midnight Oil, few Australian bands of the 1980s could boast such a fiercely outspoken, passionate and jingoistic outlook as that of this band. The groups brand of agit-folk pop earned an enormous following and by 1983 Redgum had reached the premier league as one of the biggest crowd-pulling bands on the Australian scene.
This one rarely surfaces and I don’t recall that it was ever issued in CD format either.
