#0001 DCC LP NAT KING COLE Love is the Thing LP not CD   Description DCC Limited Edition 180+ PURE VIRGIN VINYL ANALOGUE PRESSING LP, Edition Number is #0001...Number one on the Billboard Charts in 1957, this million seller stayed on the charts for a record 94 weeks. Two bonus tracks were included on this early DCC release.

Still FACTORY SEALED, MINT, PRISTINE LP and out of print...never to be pressed again.

Most pressings by DCC Compact Classics were of a limited run of only 5,000. Yes, this is the RARE number, No.0001.

This LP was boxed immediately after manufacturing, has been stored safely since then and has just now been unboxed...from personal collection. This album looks like it was just delivered from the plant, RTI!! This album is truly MINT and really looks like it was just packaged at RTI.

As you all know, the DCC vinyl albums are highly prized by the audiophile collector and now is your chance to own your own piece of some of the best sounding series of LP's in musical history.

This is No.0001 and quite a prize! It's an audiophiles dream album. There will never be any more pressed from this fine DCC collection.

DCC was renown for their 24KT Gold CD as well as their LP remastering using the original master tapes on DCC's vintage vacuum-tube playback system by the "mastro of mastering" Steve Hoffman.

This is the mastering note from Steve on back: "The 3-track original tapes of MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH and LOVE LETTERS were lost after being left off of the stereo LP of Love Is The Thing. These two songs were never mixed to stereo and are presented here in their original pristine monaural form."

All the original album artwork, photos and liner notes are here for you to enjoy, faithfully reproduced by the DCC family,as only they could do it. This album is in pristine, never opened condition with the original factory shrinkwrap. All of the albums I will be listing were 1st off the press, boxed immediately, and have been safely stored since then. It can't get any better than this!

Not even MFSL could match DCC Compact Classics for the superior sound or the painstaking attention to packaging detail on DCC's Virgin Vinyl Albums.
