This is a very rare (the only copy I have ever seen in 26 years !!!) and one of the most obscure in my opinion UK PUNK / POWER POP / MINIMAL SYNTH / NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL compilation entitled CLASS OF '83 from... 1983, this is the ORIGINAL pressing and the first time I have seen this compilation for sale. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
You might know the RAPP label form many of their rare PUNK / POWER POP / MOD single releases, but this album, which was the first album the RAPP label released, features many bands that never got to release any other products apart from the tracks on this compilation, and hence the only chance to get them will be this compilation, and believe me some of them are better then many of the single releases, or many other released singles, THESE TRACKS SHOULD BE COMPED on the KBD / POWERPEARLS or SYNTH MINIMAL compilations.

RAVE TO THE GRAVE - SATURDAY NIGHT. -  New Wave Of Heavy Metal sound.
AWAY FROM SKARO - FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO. - New Wave / DIY sound.

SIDE TWO:
THE DILLON AND COLLIS BAND - EASTERN LADY. - Synth Minimal sound
AUTOMATIC D'LAMINI - I DON'T WANT TO HURT MY FATHER (BUT I'M IN LOVE). - DIY sound, this band featured PJ Harvey in their early line up.
SOUL WARRIORS - SOUL'S REVENGE. - New Wave / Indie sound.
VISIBILITY ZERO - LET YOUR HEART BREATH. -  Great Synth / New Wave sound with female vocals.
THE ARTISTS - DOGS OF WAR. - Power Pop / New Wave Sound.
STATIC ACTIVITY - FAR AWAY LOOK. -  Mod sound.
THE ART SNOBS - STEAM. - Great DIY Punk sound like Homosexuals etc...

The compilation came out on the private RAPP RECORDS catalogue number RAPP 45678 , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!

The album is pressed on RED VINYL, and aso comes with 2 insert, an information poster (folded) + a big poster with all the band's pictured like a school photo, GREAT !!!
This album also comes in as NEW condition, and the VINYL is NEAR MINT (played once by me, was unplayed before !!!), PICTURE SLEEVE is EX/EX+ (only because of very minor corner bends), POSTER PHOTO INSERT is in EX+++ condition, and folded INFORMATION DOUBLE INSERT is also in EX+++ condition.
