I recently had the good fortune to buy a big collection of both 60's AND 80's Beat, Garage, Punk & Psychedelic...and Power-Pop...LPs, EPs and 7"s from a trusted collector who bought them all at the time...and who'd kept them so well...anything he bought new was still MINT or M- (true, there were also a few old original 60's items in whatever condition he found them in)...but the bottom line is, he had amazingly good taste, and the gems he had were carefully handpicked for excellence.
Anyway, this is one of that collection.

...only a couple of hundred of this pressed, and damn near impossible to find...these guys were on the fringe of the new-wave/punk scene in the same way that artists like Graham Parker and Dr. Feelgood were, and they played some awesome original blues tunes (only the 1st song is a cover here)...track 3 is definitely new wave-ish with truly great guitar playing, track 4 is a stunning blues tune with some even more awesome guitar playing...the Dylan cover has that electric folk-blues feel, and the 2nd track is beautiful and sad, haunting folk-blues... ...in keeping with the tag on the label of "A KEEPITASCHEAPASPOSSIBLE PRODUCTION", the entire presentation is absolutely minimal...cover is simply a blank card sleeve with the band name written in felt pen on the front...not another word on it anywhere!...they did one more 7" the next year, before mainman Paul Cupples went on to form the combustible Dri-Horrors, two of whom had died within a few years...
