On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Groundhogs called 'Blues Obituary' and is a UK ORIGINAL Stereo 1st pressing on the 1st Press Blue Liberty label!!!! THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLY RARE LP ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE LIBERTY LABEL!!!!  ONLY THE VERY EARLIEST 1969 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER PRESSED ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE LIBERTY LABEL!!!!  MOST COPIES OF THIS LP TURN UP ON THE LATER BLACK LIBERTY LABEL AND WERE BOUGHT WHEN THE GROUNDHOGS BECAME MORE POPULAR IN 1970/71.   SO TO FIND A 1969 MEGA RARE 1ST PRESSING ON THE BLUE LIBERTY LABEL IS IMPOSSIBLY RARE!!!!  THIS IS ALSO THE VERY EARLIEST 1969 1ST PRESSING WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS IMPOSSIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is an ORIGINAL Liberty UK Stereo 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LBS 83253 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue Liberty label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Groundhogs at their best!!!! Any fan of The Groundhogs, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from a small 'rub' on Side 2 - NOT a sticker tear), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light NON sounding hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILLS RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and only some VERY slight crackle in a VERY few places (mainly between tracks) - though most of the record is CRACKLE FREE!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), only some VERY small areas of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, NO laminate breakage, NO laminate loss, STUNNING shiny laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE 1969 1ST STEREO PRESSING OF THIS MEGA RARE LP AND IS SO VERY HARD TO FIND ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE LIBERTY LABEL!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
