Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Confusion called "Confusion" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing (Private Pressing!) on the 1st Press Deroy label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE VERY SOUGHT AFTER DEROY LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS MADE - IT WAS ONLY EVER PRIVATELY PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (MOST LIKELY LESS THAN 50 COPIES!), AND THEN DELETED FOREVER!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  AND LIKE MANY OTHER DEROY PRESSINGS THIS IS A PRETTY BAD RECORDING WHICH CLEARLY THE BAND GOT DEROY TO PRESS!!!!  HOWEVER, IT IS INDEED HEAVY ROCK/PSYCH MUSIC - WITH SOME GREAT GUITAR SOLOS!!!!  CONFUSINGLY (THOUGH HE OBVIOUSLY ISNT PLAYING ON THIS LP!) THERE ARE REFERENCES MADE ON THE LP TO ERIC CLAPTON BY THE BAND, AND THERE ARE 2 OR 3 CREAM COVERS, AS WELL AS A FEW OTHER TRACKS I CANNOT IDENTIFY!!!!  IT IS CLEARLY LATE 1960s MUSIC THOUGH, WITH HEAVY GUITAR & DRUMS!!!!  AND ALTHOUGH THIS LP DOES NOT HAVE 'DEROY' LABELS - IT DOES HAVE A STICKER ON EITHER LABEL, WITH THE CORRECT 'A.D. MARSH' REFERENCE AND CORRECT DEROY ADDRESS FROM THIS 1967 PERIOD!!!!  AND THE LABELS ARE ALSO 'HEAVILY TEXTURED' WITH A 'DOUBLE GROOVE' - WHICH IS EXACTLY CORRECT FOR ALL DEROY PRESSINGS FROM THIS TIME SPAN!!!!  ANOTHER ODD DETAIL ABOUT THIS LP IS THAT IT HAS 2 SETS OF MATRIXES ON EITHER SIDE!!!!  MACHINE STAMPED ON EACH SIDE IS 'CJG 1 LP A' & CJG 1 LP B' AND FAINTLY ETCHED IS 'ADM LP 226 - A' & 'ADM LP 226 - B' ALSO!!!!  AND AS WITH MANY DEROY PRIVATE PRESSINGS - THE COVER IS OF THE VERY EARLY 'UNLAMINATED FLIPBACK' VARIETY - WITH WHAT LOOKS TO BE A CRUDE DESIGN OF THE BANDS TITLE ON THE FRONT COVER (SEE PICTURE!) IN BROWN (THOUGH THIS EQUALLY COULD HAVE BEEN RED AND FADED OVER TIME)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON 1ST PRESS DEROY LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Deroy UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ADM LP 226 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Deroy label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light hairline traces, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Flipback Cover is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO sticker tears, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  However, as you can see from the pictures - there are a 2 or 3 grease traces on the cover back, and a few TINY ones on the cover front.  The cover also has a funny smell to it - which probably reflects where the LP was stored for many years!!!!  There is however, NO rips, NO tears, NO splits, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!  It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1ST PRESSING OF "CONFUSION" BY CONFUSION, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.
