Description
A copy of the original Fontana release of the ultra rare eponymous Wil Malone album!
Released in 1970 and reputedly only available for 2 months hence reported total sales of around 200. It is estimated that less than 30 copies are now known (This is one of them!). This copy was bought in Oxfam in East Sheen, London in the early 1980's and has stayed in the same ownership since then.

Wil Malone is the extremely rare and hard to find British psychedelic albumfrom1970 by Wilson Malone. This is the most difficult psych album to be found on a 60’s major record label. He was the principle song-writer in Orange Bicycle,whose song ‘Lil Vally’ performed by The M-Ms and the Peanuts is also an early soul collectors item. He also has writing credits with a band called The Smoke and Fickle Pickle from the same era.
He continues to compose, arrange and produce music for another four more decades. The strings on Massive Attack's Unfinished Symphony were his work as was the Verve's 'Bitter Sweet Symphony'. He has also worked with Depeche Mode, UNKLE, Black Sabbath, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Basement Jazz, Faithless and Kylie Minogue…to name only a few!
