Description
This is an original vintage hard to find 1962 mono Chicago blues lp record by Smokey Smothers titled "Smokey Smothers Sings The Backporch Blues". This album features Freddy Kings as a session guitarist. This rare lp is on the black label King Records #779. Condition of the record is very good plus plus with clean labels and high gloss. The center holes are clean and look as though this record was played very little. One side has no spindle marks and the other side only has a couple light spindle marks. The cover is excellent with high gloss and very little handling wear. There is one small indentation on the m in Smokey that is less than 1/2". There is 3/4" split on the lower right seam edge. The front cover photo has a reflection from the light in the upper left corner area. The back cover is clean with an original price sticker along the top white margin edge. There are no tears, cut out holes or writing. This lp is very sought after and rarely turns up!
