TITLE:  Upon A Once Time

REMARKS:  This is a rare, original copy of a Canadian hippie rural folk psych LP by Huckle. Private press LP with primitive paste-on cover and paste on lyric sheet/info on back. The title and artist’s name are handwritten on cover in pen (probably by Huckle or his girlfriend). So this is one very homemade record.  Tracks are "Flowers", "Get Down", "Beyonder", "The Sunshine Shuffle", and more. With guitars, bass, banjo, flute, percussion, and female back vocals. This is an extremely rare hippie folk psych LP. Get it while you can. 

CONDITION OF VINYL:

SIDE 2 = VG++, a few light scuffs and marks, otherwise great.

SIDE 1 = VG+, same as above save for one light scratch (it cannot be felt with thumb or finger), which stretches across one and a half tracks.

PLAYGRADE = the album plays very well, especially considering how very quiet and acoustic much of it is. One track (the one with the scratch) has some very light clicks – nothing too serious at all and they are not constant throughout. For the rest of the LP, just very occasional light bit of surface noise here and there. Definitely nothing serious and overall it sounds great. There is no deep down grimy noise of any sort whatsoever.

CONDITION OF COVER: 7/10, some light staining and discoloration along top and bottom, light water damage on bottom left corner (which is also slightly bent), the name and title in pen has a little spot of ink-run where water touched it at one time. The back has light wear only. The seams are very strong. Please see scans.    

GRADING: I give a written description that I feel is more accurate than just a letter-grade; please read it carefully. But records and covers are also graded to Goldmine Standards to the best of my ability (covers are graded on a scale of one to ten: ten = perfect, one = most hideous piece of junk you could imagine). I do a very quick play grade for each record but do not listen to the item straight through. I simply try to listen for noise in the quiet spots and where flaws appear visible. I check for any warps that affect play. Very small ones that do not affect play will not be mentioned.

SHIPPING CONDITIONS: Buyer pays for the exact shipping charges. Sometime after auction close I will give you the cost of surface mail or air mail for your item – you choose.  Insurance or tracking number are available but do add to the cost of shipping – ask beforehand. Please note that any items lost in the mail are not my responsibility, so a tracking number is  recommended for expensive items. I will combine shipping. 

SHIPPING COSTS: The price often depends on whether the item is over or under 500 grams – a single packaged LP record hovers right around that weight, and so the final cost is difficult to predict until the item is ready to be sent. However, 80% OF THE TIME A SINGLE RECORD IS IN THE 250-500 GRAMS CATEGORY. PACKAGING: Please be assured that I package all records extremely well in stiff cardboard – you will NEVER get a record sent to you in a flimsy envelope or silly bubble wrap. I mail the disc outside the sleeve. I collect records also, so all items are sent the way I would want to receive them.
